Airman AX38U-7 – Power and precision for heavier jobs
The Airman AX38U-7 is a 4-tonne mini excavator that excels in power, reach and ease of operation. With its high-mounted exhaust, it is also ideal for gardening and landscaping projects, as the hot exhaust gases do not damage shrubs and hedges.

With its powerful 18.8 kW diesel engine, the AX38U stays just below the 19 kW limit at which soot filters are mandatory. The advantage: a simple, reliable diesel engine with a lower risk of additional maintenance costs.

Safety comes first: the machine is equipped as standard with piloted hose breakage protection, battery key and LED work lights. Large protective covers and a fully tiltable cab make all maintenance points easily accessible, including the valve block and rear of the engine.

The AX38U is the bigger brother of the AX33U, with a longer excavator arm for extra reach, supported by a wider track and extra counterweight for optimum stability. The well-insulated cab provides a comfortable, low-noise working environment.

As is typical with Japanese manufacturers, the hydraulics ensure extremely smooth and precise operation.
