The Merlo Roto 70.24 is a robust and high-performance rotating telehandler in the higher segment of the Roto range and is designed for applications where maximum lifting capacity and stability are key. This model is closely related to the Roto 50.30 and, like this model, is based on virtually the same chassis, which provides an extremely stable and solid base.

The main difference between the two machines is in the boom structure: the Roto 70.24 has one less mast element than the Roto 50.30. This more compact boom configuration results in a significantly higher lifting capacity, making the machine particularly suitable for heavy lifting applications at medium heights, without compromising on precision or safety. Thanks to the continuously rotating upper carriage, loads can be positioned efficiently and accurately without having to move the machine. This increases productivity and safety on the construction site.

The advanced ASCS (Adaptive Stability Control System) continuously monitors the stability of the machine and automatically adjusts the hydraulic movements based on load, reach and position of the stabilisers. The telescopic boom with internally protected hydraulic lines ensures smooth and accurate movements, while the multi-positional stabilisers offer maximum flexibility on a variety of terrains and in complex working conditions. The machine is electrically prepared as standard for the connection of work cages.
